Advice on House - According to Vastushastra ( Confirm the directions by Magnetic compass only. )

Plot of the house should square or rectangular only.
The length of the plot should be 1.5 times of the width is the best or it may be less but more is not good.
Length is good if it is South-North direction.
Plot-level of the floor should be sloping on North or East direction. A slope of plots towards South or West direction is not accepted at any cost.
The main entrance gate is allowed on any direction. Except south-west direction. Don’t choose on South-west side. (THE AREA BETWEEN SOUTH & WEST) The 4th part out of 9 parts is the best on any direction.
Part should be count clockwise. it means from noth-east to south-east, fot east side door. or from south-west to north-west, for south side door.
south door is also allowed in original vastushastra books. it is not rejected.

Main living room; meeting-room is best at Northeast side (It is also good at north or East Side.
Master bedroom is allowed at Southwest Zone.
Kitchen Room is best at Southeast area of the house & kitchen otta should be at East wall, South wall is not allowed. It means that the lady must face towards the east direction only. The second preference is Northwest Zone of the house but otta should be at east wall of the room only.
Main entrance of the plot & the house should not be aline or facing each other.
Underground water tank & main entrance or any door of house should not be aline.
Latrines are allowed any-where on the western or southern side. (EXCEPT Southwest corner. Preferably, centre of the west or south—northeast corner is not allowed for latrines.
Northeast corner/zone is only for mandir or photos & statues of God OR living room, meditation, yoga study or other peaceful work.
Places of bedrooms are best at Southwest & at west and south side anywhere. But the position of sleeping should be—preferably, head towards South and legs towards North or head towards east, but head towards north side is not allowed.
Open place around house should be more towards North & East and less towards South & west.
Staircase is allowed anywhere on South and West direction. Up side towards South &/or west.
